The Multiple Access, including sound/video pieces created by 26 artists from Isfahan. Besides focusing on less seen, forgotten or even neglected works, Iranpour has done her best to bring voices from different generations with various concerns. In Multiple Access, we witness videos with social themes, ones which take on urban and environmental approaches parallel to more personal examples dealing with individual, psychological or even abstract subjects.
The aim of curating the program and juxtaposing the diverse collection of works both from formal and thematic aspects is to present a survey on possible impacts of the living and creating in a certain geography on artists’ practice who shared a locality through the span of decades.

Aporias of Hospitality
Hossein Khosrowjah at Va Space will talk about the ethical and cultural foundations of hospitality including the responsibilities of both the host and the guest. As the history of the 20th and the 21st centuries has been one of demographic displacement and ethnic dislocation, a philosophical examination of hospitality is foundational to understanding the intersubjective encounter with the (cultural/ethnic/national) Other. Such examination is also key to defining cosmopolitanism as one of contemporary ideologies of globalism (at least one that strives toward a more egalitarian and enlightened global community). The talk will briefly touch upon some of these ideas.
